Me and my family recently had the pleasure of staying at Murguma Eco Hut in Murguma, Purulia, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.

The resort is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers a breathtaking view of the Ayodhya Hills and the serene Murguma Lake. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping was nothing short of magical. The property is extremely well-maintained and clean.

One of the highlights of the resort is its beautiful garden in front of the rooms, which is full of vibrant flowering plants and orchids. It adds a splash of color and freshness to the surroundings.
The staff members are very courteous, polite, and quick to respond to any needs. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Another standout aspect was the food—every meal we had was super tasty, freshly prepared, and priced very reasonably. Whether it was a simple homely meal or a special dish, everything was cooked to perfection.

Overall, Murguma Eco Hut offers a peaceful and rejuvenating escape into nature with excellent hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature.

In keeping with the beauty of Muruguma, Muruguma Eco Hut is one of the most attractive places here, decorated with spring flowers. At the entrance of the Echo Hut, Begonbaliya stands with a branch of her form, and the smell of Madhveela fills the mind. Don't forget to welcome the end of March and the dahlias as well as the palash trees around the Eco Hut singing the last song of spring. If you remove the curtain of the window of Eco Hut, you can see the Anuchtila right behind is a lotus pond where two or four lotuses are still blooming. The call of an unknown bird is heard from morning. Muruguma Ecohut is the best place to find yourself under a starry night sky.

I recently visited this property with my parents . And we three went on a trip together after a long time . First of all the location of the property is excellent . You can find only one shop near the vicinity. The staffs Dasu , Sachin and all others took extreme care of us. It's a remote location so arranging things at times becomes difficult. They were unable to provide us the complimentary tea sachets but to compensate that they told us just to tell whenever you want to have tea. The staffs are extremely hardworking and amicable in nature. Manager Surojit coordinates everything with great warmth. The best thing about the resort is their mantianece of the garden area. Yes certain things can be improved like providing a better mattress for the additional bed. But the overall experience is very satisfactory especially for how they try their best to take care of you. Additionally , we got our tour driver aka tour guide Monoranjan who not only drove us to the tourist spots but also accompanied us and especially helped my father who has a problem in knee to climb up and down in certain places .

The staff at Muruguma Eco Hut were exceptional! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and took care of every need with genuine warmth.
The ambience of the eco hut is unparalleled. It’s peaceful, rustic, and beautifully in tune with the environment.
The meals were fresh, delicious, and felt like a home-cooked feast. Special mention to the local flavors that truly enhanced the culinary experience.
I highly recommend this gem for a rejuvenating stay!

I, one of 32 members of the Khola Hawa team, had visited Muruguma Eco Hut on 27th Dec 2024 and stayed there for two nights. We had nine rooms and one tent. Rooms are excellent with attached, spacious western bathrooms and getting 24-hour hot/cold water and free Wi-Fi service. Murguma Eco Hut is one of the best eco-friendly resorts compared to other resorts at Murguma for location, its serene lake view, hill forest view, and its beautiful, well-maintained garden inside the resort. For us they had arranged a campfire, bonfire, and Chou Dance; we had a lot of fun. The foods were delicious and homely-like. Thanks to Mr. Sayak Babu (Owner), Mr. Surajit Babu (Manager), Monaranjan Babu (Driver), and Mr. Dasu and his teams for their hospitality, sweet gesture, and caring attitude. We would highly recommend to visit Muruguma Eco Hut , who love nature, it is an ideal place for a relaxing and memorable stay. – Arinta Roy (Kolkata)

Beast Resort I have ever seen. The rooms are spacious and neat and clean. Atmosphere is friendly. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Foods are good but costly. The facilities of BBQ and Bonfire available here. We demand and management arrange Chou Dance for us. But road is very narrow and dangerous for a large vehicle like Traveller. It's beside the Murguma Dam .

Rooms are very small, we were feeling suffocated. Bathroom and bason are not properly clean. They should be more focused on the cleanliness of the property. Room services are not that good . Everytime you want to order anything you need to walk till their kitchen to place the order. Teste of the food is okay but the prices are on the higher side. So overall not a very good experience. I would rate my stay at muruguma eco hut 6 out of 10

A wonderful place! We stayed for 2 days. Had a great time, really beautiful place. Resort's rooms are nice, mainly first floor rooms and staff was very good. Indeed, their manners and hospitality were very good. We all are happy!

Truly a wonderful place, if you want some quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of Kolkata, you can make this Murguma Eco Hut your destination. We stayed for 2 days. Had a great time, really beautiful place. Say hotel room or say hotel staff was very good. Indeed, their manners and hospitality were very good. Great cooking, simply amazing. Every member of ours is very happy. The location is also very good, all the tourist spots in Purulia can be visited very easily.

I visited Murguma Eco Hut twice and I had a great time there. The eco hut is located in a beautiful spot near the Murguma dam, surrounded by hills, forests and water-bodies. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The two days that we spent in Muruguma Eco Hut with family and friends were very special. We were overwhelmed by the maintenance, cleanliness and decoration of the resort, the instant services, the delicious food, the beautiful location of the resort in the lap of nature, the cordial behaviour of the owner and so on. This was my first stay at this property, definitely one of the best property at this location, rooms were spacious, bathroom was also tidy, hot water was available uopn request. Price was also very reasonable considering the time and location. Stayed with my family and friends. Due to pick season service was a bit slow, but manageable. Quality of food provided at lunch wasn't good,however dinner and breakfast was good.
